The delete key does not work by default in zsh. A quick Google told me to append bindkey '\e[3~' delete-char to /etc/zshrc (found at http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-i386/2003/10/01/0001.html) which fixes this. Could this be included in the suggested zshrc?
