1. b/c windows users have their media, sometimes b/c they HAVE TO
2. windows users normally don't have 3+ isos of data
3. windows has a definitive THIS ONE binary is windows98
4. windows users can't recompile their stuff and give it the same build
number
5. I know a number of linux users who cannot convincingly login. They
certainly won't be able to keep track of a couple of cds they burnt 6
months ago.
