Floppy controller module load/unload failure

I had wondered about that, but never bothered to look.  Thanks.

Good idea.  I am working on that one, too.

Along the same lines, I have FC1 running on this notebook that does not
have a floppy controller at all.  When I shutdown the system I always
see something like:

floppy.o: Error can not unload floppy module...yada yada...

This would be because there is not one loaded.  I get an error message
during boot about that too.  I do not have any entries in modules.conf
for a floppy controller module.

This "error" does not do any harm at all, it is merely annoying.

Of course, there is an entry in "/etc/modprobe.conf.dist" but that alone
should not be causing this.  Any ideas?
