Altix 3000 working w/Arjan's latest Fedora Core kernel

This is just a quick note to say that Altix 3000 and 350 works with the
Fedora Core Development kernel-2.6.7-1.499.ia64.rpm, available from Arjan's
kernel page:

http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/2.6/RPMS.kernel/

Note that, starting with this RPM, the console driver has changed.  The
device name is /dev/ttySG0 and it has a major number of 204 and minor number
of 40.

kudzu needs some adjustment to detect our console and the device file needs
to be put in place - both things that will happen in the future.  Hopefully
this email is enough to get you started if you're interested in playing with
it.
