dependency problems with gettext and subversion

Below is the console output from trying to do 'yum update' on 
development. It show that there are some dependency problems that have 
been happening since last week. Would the people rsponsible for these 
packages please straighten this out,
Thanks and of course please let me know if I have done something 
incorrectly wrt updating.

[root at new2 root]# yum --exclude=gettext\* --exclude=subversion\*  update

Package mod_dav_svn needs subversion = 1.0.4-2, this is not available.
[root at new2 root]# yum --exclude=gettext\* --exclude=subversion\*  
--exclude=mod_dav_svn update

I will do the following:
[update: sysklogd 1.4.1-18.i386]
