how to override kernel modules?

Would it make sense to patch the current rawhide
module-init-tools-3.0-0.pre10.1 instead of modutils? rawhide seems to
have dumped/merged modutils away.

Or, Jeremy, are you considering a modutils update for FC2? Most repos
would be very grateful to have core support for /updates/, instead of
having to offer patched modutils/module-init-tools rpms (yes,
replacing core packages is considered a sin in some religions ;)
