yeah I can see the point of doing a short cycle for FC4, once in a while
it's good to do a "mostly bugfixes" release to get basic quality
higher....

and another great feature to get out early will be the new GCC buffer
overflow checking features.

Sounds like Late January/ early February would be a nice date for a
followup release....
