Problems with linc and yum

Update fails with:
Error: missing dep: linc for pkg linc-devel

rawhide report says linc was removed.

1. OK, so why doesn't yum handle that?

2. Let's tell yum to erase it:
sudo yum erase linc

Doesn't look like a good idea.  Might want to use system-config-xxx.
