Wireless update to ifup and network-functions

Is there any chance you could round up those patches for me?  Now that
most my friends and family have wireless, not having this
functionality is really becoming a necessity for me.  I am more than
willing to spend the time to clean everything up and get it in shape
until it meets peoples approval.
