"/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-routes", making grep hang waiting for
data on STDIN.

and attached a patch.


As a workaround you can modify the script like this (line 31):

- -       if egrep -q '^[[:space:]]*ADDRESS[0-9]+=' ; then
+       if egrep -q '^[[:space:]]*ADDRESS[0-9]+=' $file ; then
