oh another thing we need to resolve is the over-abundance of
execshield-disabling libaries and binaries in the distro.

if you're the owner of any of these packages/files please seriously consider
fixing these. If you don't know how or what or otherwise have questions, do
not hesitate to ask via email (on this list or off list) or on IRC; for security
