Ron, 
 This isn't about 'getting stories straight' it's not like red hat is a
single mind acting in unison. It's not like any open source project is
like that either.

Here's the deal. Xfce got dropped out of core b/c we're trying to shave
off some misc packages. Do I think it'll be in extras? Yes. I actually
think it will:
 1. be in extras
 2. be kept more updated from extras
 3. not be a problem for you.

I know it's hard to believe but we're trying to get everything together
and sometimes it just takes a little time.
