You know UPSes are not only unsed for servers.
They are for example quite common in HomeCinema setups where you
absolutely do not want a power failure to shorten dramatically the life
of your equipment by shutting down your projector before it has the
chance to cool down its lamp by running its fans at max settings for a
few minutes (the lamp is the single most expensive and delicate
component of a video projector)
