shutdown items not showing

1. Wrong list.  These types of non-development questions belong on 
fedora-list.

2. I've found that hitting any key on the keyboard unblanks the
shutdown screen.  I'd imagine this was done to make the shutdown less
cluttered, while still having the ability to see what is happening if
you want.
