Yes, please.  A base install is 666MB acording to anaconda.  Almost half 
of which require immediate updating to get up-to-date.  It just does not 
make sense to have this many packages in the base install.  Some of the 
ones off the top if my head ( starting from a blamk package list in 
kickstart ) include FreeType and xorg-x11-libs.  I need almost nothing 
since my post-install scripts just end up pulling down everything from 
our own mirror+custom repo's.
