Ah! That explains the slowness... 2.8Mhz is even slower than my old XT 
:-)
Now seriously: something is going on wrong, since gedit tooks 2 seconds 
to open on my Northwood P4 2Ghz with 512MB running Xen with concurrent 
2 domains running.
