I am not sure I understand what you mean.  To me, Core should provide a 
working system with additional functionality available in Extras.  Once I 
have completed firstboot and added additional functionality, my system may 
have some processes which are started before when firstboot is executed when 
the system is rebooted.  Extras should provide optional additional 
functionality  If anaconda is to handle both Core and Extras as input, then 
the real distribution will be Core+Extras.  Is this the intended direction?
