cool....we can abstract some Distro specific stuff (rpm, deb,fyi or 
anaconda) from generic stuff (lpad, caching etc) ...to make it truly 
Linux wide effort ....some enhancement or ideas can flow easily for 
cross pollination ...maybe two projects (Stateless Deb and Stateless RH) 
can collaborate
