I've been suffering the same problem for months, but I didn't want ot 
instal the "Dell" module. So I waited and... good news!

Latest fedora kernel works like a charm. I used to have daily crasehs but 
since kernel-2.6.11-1.14_FC3smp I've had more than 2 weeks uptime. I just 
couldn't believe it.
