Hey All,
Did this remove or -fno-strict-alias ?
I was able to build a source tree this morning, updated about 20mins ago
(yum update) and now the same tree fails with this:
configure:1890: checking for C compiler default output file name
configure:1893: gcc -fno-strict-alias conftest.c >&5
cc1: error: unrecognized command line option "-fno-strict-alias"
configure:1896: $? = 1
configure: failed program was:
| /* confdefs.h. */
|
| #define PACKAGE_NAME "foo"
| #define PACKAGE_TARNAME "foo"
| #define PACKAGE_VERSION "0.1-FOO"
| #define PACKAGE_STRING "foo 0.1-FOO"
| #define PACKAGE_BUGREPORT "someone at someplace.com"
| /* end confdefs.h. */
|
| int
| main ()
| {
|
| ;
| return 0;
| }
configure:1935: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
Thanks
Michael
