Nothing exactly official, however Red Hat (and Fedora) focus on GTK and
Gnome as the default and target desktop.  All Fedora developed tools are
gtk, and thats where the majority of resources go.  There is even
discussion of releasing KDE into Extras so that the community (which
would include internal Red Hat KDE developers/maintainers) could
maintain KDE in a more open way.
