   FWIW,  etc-update-20020731-6mdk.noarch.rpm   installs and works
properly on FC6-test if y'all want to take a look at it.
ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/MandrakeCooker/community/i586//media/contrib/etc-update-20020731-6mdk.noarch.rpm

$ which etc-update
/usr/bin/etc-update

    Gives these choices;

1) Upgrade to new /etc/ntp.conf.rpmnew
2) Keep existing /etc/ntp.conf
3) Merge the two files
4) Show the difference between the two files again
5) Skip (keep all files)
  OR
6) Quit etc-update

Type (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6): 6
