xorg-x11-xinit-1.0.2-7.fc6 breaks GNOME

Hi,

On Itanium (ia64) architecture, today Rawhide's xorg-x11-xinit-1.0.2-7.fc6
prevents me from logging in a GNOME session. All the details can be find at

Reverting to xorg-x11-xinit-1.0.2-6.fc6 completely solves the problem.

Is this issue also experienced on other architectures?
