I saw the exact same thing with the Fedora downloads.   Interestingly if
you let it sit, it would eventually shut down cleanly; although sometimes
it would take an hour.   While the fact that it runs at all is a great
achievement, it still needs a few kinks worked out.  After switching to 
the bittorrent client things sailed along fine.
