You're right.  And they'd hopefully understand the answer they got

I'd assume that many people on this list work in the "trenches" just
as much as you do.   You're trying to say your opinion is more 
informed than the people you're debating; that awfully presumptuous.

The people debating in this thread have given you lots of chances to
notice that they're not disagreeing with you about many of your basic
points.   You're forced to assume their naive because you can't
seem to come to terms with the points you're actually mistaken about.

There is plenty of oportunity in _reality_ to work on the issues that
interest you.   Nobody is arguing that your objectives are wrong, just
your implementation.
