I have a (old) HP6300C USB scanner, that used to work with a usbscanner (or was that hpscanner?) kernel module. That kernel module is gone, now xsane and kooka only can use it via libusb. The problem is this only seems to work when i am root. Is there a way to let normal users use the scanner? - Erwin
