Why is this not announced/discussed on fedora-extras-list?
That is the development mailing list for Fedora Extras!

The bug tracker for general issues in Extras which "ought to be fixed
before next release of Fedora Core" is 187071 (alias FE6Target).
We've used it for rebuild request tickets before, too. I've linked it,
now, but another tracker bug is unnecessary IMHO.
