Except that, in Richard's case, Windows was in error as well.  Lenovo
hardcoded the values rather than querying the battery for the actual
information.  Therefore, Windows had the same bad info that Linux did.
I think in this case, the ACPI devel mail was right; this is a developer
issue and it should be reported to Lenovo, and they will be much more
likely to fix it as Windows appeared to be broken as well.
