rpmdb error help needed

	I can't believe your timing.  I just slammed smack into this when I ran
an update this morning.  I was within minutes of rebuilding the whole
system from scratch (it is just a test system anyways) when I read your
message.  That worked.  Saved me a couple of hours rebuild.

	Point on the curve - I noticed a hung rpmq process running this
morning.  Not sure if it was a cause of the problem or an effect of the
problem.

	Yes - This was on an SMP machine.  I had never run into that before.
Could not --rebuilddb or --initdb or anything until I removed those __*
files.  Then --rebuilddb recovered the system.  Many thanks!
