concerning X freeze recurring

And none of you thought to inform the developers untill days before
release?

If it's not in bugzilla, it doesn't exist.

For what it's worth, my Radeon 9600XT is fine, I threw in a 7500 card
and that also seemed to do okay but I didn't have time to do longterm
testing.
