rawhide report: 20070403 changes

The mute button on my HP dv1240us laptop does not work (the audio is
not muted and the button LED does not come on).  After finding a
reference on the web, I added:
"options snd-intel8x0 ac97_quirk=7" to /etc/modprobe.conf.  On Ubuntu
7.04, the mute button works and this modprobe option makes the LED
work.  Any idea why this isn't happy with Rawhide?
