Yum says package "ntp" is not available which is not true

Yes, certainly, that's programming for you.  However, I'm not using that
version so I can't be of more help (too darn busy to install F7 -- may skip
to F8, sigh).  Now that the simple stupid question is settled, it's time
for me to be quiet and let this problem go back to the experts.
