Gnome Network Manager Applet issue?

That bug seems to address the issue i'm getting with nm-applet.
stranger is that knetworkmanager is working just fine..

i just entered a new bug report just in case:

And a temporary solution for it:
install knetworkmanager and use that one instead of nm-applet.
