Yeah, I pretty much knew the release delay was coming, which was one 
unofficial reason I wasn't pushing even harder recently to make sh#$*t 
happen here (in fedora). :)

I updated
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/8/Schedule
accordingly.
