kernels won't boot

I see the same. The following don't work:
kernel-2.6.24-0.107.rc5.git3.fc9
kernel-2.6.24-0.123.rc6.fc9

kernel-2.6.24-0.81.rc4.git7.fc9 works, and most kernels before this one 
didn't worked.

My computer is a dell latitude d505.
