Actually looking at it it is already implemented.  Just pop in the CD or
DVD and right click on the icon.  There is an option to copy the disk.
If you select teh same DVD drive it is in it will create the iso and
then ask you to pop in a DVD-R.  If you are asking to be able to do this
on a live image that has not been installed to a hard drive then you are
pretty much out of luck unless you boot up with the mode where the whole
system is loaded into memory.
