The point being missed here is there are security implications. A
malicious user with RT privs can easily lock the machine up hard, at
will. Because RT is basically cooperative multitasking, the RT process
runs uninterrupted until it gives up its slice, and if it doesn't...
total system lockup.

So handing out RT privs has to be done very carefully.
