2888 is still missing the sata-promise-pata.patch rebase, right? Unfortunately, 
that makes it unusable for me, because I have a PATA drive on a Promise 
SATA/PATA RAID controller and there's no way I can rewire things differently 
because I have 5 IDE/PATA devices (3 HDDs, 1 DVD reader and 1 DVD burner). (I'm 
posting this mainly so that others in the same situation are warned.)
