Not at all, after a default install the icon will start Firefox and this 
does not change until you go to change the default manually (or unistall

It is unambiguous: the default web browser is launched. This is a 
task-oriented philosophy instead of application-oriented.
In the same vein, the menu option titled "Word Processor" will launch 
OOo Writer and Movie Player will launch Totem, it is not a 
discrimination against Firefox.
