Along similar lines.  Why is it that I can choose to upgrade an existing
linux install (I've usually got two - the latest stable Fedora and
rawhide) but I can't also choose to install where an existing fedora
install is?

I prefer to install (and leave /home intact) rather than upgrading
because it's about as easy and it doesn't leave behind relics like
upgrading can.
