@Hans de Goede
Ralinks firmware are wifi devices (then network apply)
this is rt61-firmware and rt71w-firmware in currently in review
i don't know the status of these (i expect that missing license is a
blocker at least)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/230164 (rt71w-firmware used by rt73usb
kernel module)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/230161 (rt61-firmware used by rt61pci kernel module)
others rt2400pci rt2500pci rt2500usb do not requires firmware and are
recommanded by FSF because of that...
rt2500usb sometimes work better with rt73usb kernel module ( reported
by rt2x00 devs at serialmonkey )
About Ralink's wifi devices, RutilT is an utility that was previously
design to help special function for legacies version. But it has
recently added support for rt2x00. Some users reported that wifi works
fine with it (not sure if they can get it work without it...)
Review is here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/202521
Current state of art is that i trying to get it work with pam
(will ask on the appropriate ml for this...)
There is also atmel firmwares.
As far as i've checked only usb version aren't inside the kernel -
May requires external kernel module for them...
http://thekelleys.org.uk/atmel/ - for pci ( pcmcia if applicable)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/221677
http://developer.berlios.de/projects/at76c503a/ (usb version not
merged yet (or planned to be) - but it need a confirmation...)
