disabling warn_unused_result attribute with FORTIFY_SOURCE?

It looks like it was closed WONTFIX because the gcc developers believe
the "bug" is in glibc setting warn_unused_result in the first place. gcc
is merely acting as designed. Seems reasonable to me.
