User directories integration - request for help

A few weeks? The english-on-disk or translations-on-disk flamewar has
been going on for at least five years.

Those would be from buggy applications that should be fixed. Since when
do we cater to buggy applications enought to go with a worse solution.

I like it when we think something is right we are arrogant, but you're
obviously not arrogant when you think our solution suck ass and yours is
perfect.

I'm well aware of the pros and cons of the solutions, having discussed
them on and off for many years. No solution is perfect, but I have
picked the one I think is best.
