F7 Zope package

Yes that would be an excellent solution but the main python maintainer is 
against this (as he still fears extra BZ traffic because of this). And for some 
reason beyond my comprehension FESco has decided to vote with the python 
maintainer and blacklist py2.4 in any way.

This is completely un-understandable, as this will serious hurt end users for 
little good reasons?? Could FESco please explain itself with regard to this in 
detail?

What ever happend to a package is ok, as long as it is free software, not 
legally encumbered and someone is willing to maintain it?

Note I'm not a zope user, but I just don't like to see (some of) our end users 
getting burned this way.
