I'd rather be compatible with the real world. FHS started out trying to
describe and slightly refine practice, then it got taken over by people
with no experience which is why stuff like /srv got included.

I grew up with BSD, SYSV and SunOS so most of FHS is the "best of"
for those. Then people broke it..
