While I understand what you're saying, we adopted the policy that %post
should never ever fail, because it has the potential to really destroy a
large transaction. It was an accidental omission on that specific
section, which is why I corrected it. In fact, I thought I had already
done it a while ago, but had forgotten to.
I have read your font guideline drafts, and I think they are rather
good. We simply just don't want any scriptlets to fail, no matter how
unlikely or contained the failure may be.
Please don't take it personally. :)
