Using xdg-utils instead of htmlview, other hardwired apps

You should also check for hardcoded use of gnome-open, which should be changed 
to xdg-open these days (so it will honor the KDE settings under KDE, not the 
GNOME ones). Though gnome-open is still better than hardcoded firefox of 
course.
