This is a bug in the Sun JDK code, not in the X libraries.  I already
provided a patch here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=301691

and it has been applied upstream.  It is _not_ a bug in rawhide.

That bug also describes a workaround, if you're stuck using a buggy JDK.
