boot a live image from an ipod?

Current ipods are set up with 2048 byte sectors which syslinux (and
other bootloaders) don't support, so you can't actually boot from them.
Fixing that requires a lot of really grotty work to clean out all of the
"sector size == 512" assumptions through syslinux and even then, no
guarantee that it doesn't brick the iPod
