I'm sorry, I forgot that the default compiz uses glib gconf instead
of ccp .. to make use  of ccsm you can either run compiz by "compiz
--replace ccp" .. or install compizconfig-backend-gconf and set  ccsm
to use the Gconf backend in the preferences ..

compizconfig-backend-kconfig just passed review,   I havent request a
CVS for it yet
